Seeking a remote Administrative Intern March 3, 2025 to August 29th, 2025
The Traverse City Dance Project is currently in our 14th exciting season! The TCDP gathers professional dance artists from companies around the country for a summer residency in Traverse City, MI. Our 2025 season will include dance pieces by both new and returning choreographers, as well as musical collaborations with a string quartet. This year we are also adding the first Northern Michigan Dance Festival. Please check out our website tcdanceproject.org to learn more about the company.
We are seeking an administrative intern to help with a variety of tasks, including:
Marketing and program development
Donation collection
Ticket sales
Data Entry
Bi-weekly meetings on zoom
Ideal candidate is a university student or recent graduate interested in dance/arts administration, and has experience with various computer programs such as Word, Excel, Photoshop/iPhoto, Final Cut/iMovie/Adobe Premiere. Intern must be well organized and adaptable to changes in season schedule/task prioritization, as well as have access to a computer, reliable internet service, and reachable via phone. Intern will report to the Executive Director Julie Cobble and Artistic Director Brent Whitney, however the position is remote. The position is unpaid. It is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable administration experience with a vibrant and growing grassroots dance company, in a beautiful setting!
